The 2018 International Conference on Blockchain (ICBC 2018), organized by the Service Society (S2), announced that it had accepted the submission of the InfiniteChain sidechain design paper from Taiwan. The design paper was selected by the most competitive research track of the conference. The paper will also be published by Springer in LNCS, with ISI, EI, DBLP, Google Scholar, IO-port, MathSciNet, Scoopus, and ZBIMath as the relevant indexes.
The concept of the blockchain and related technologies, such as decentralized data storage, point- to-point transmission, consensus mechanisms and encryption algorithms, have rapidly developed since 2008. The ICBC will be held for the first time in Seattle in June to support and promote relevant research and innovative applications of blockchain all over the world.

The paper elaborates on the distributed auditing model of InfiniteChain. In the architecture design of InfiniteChain, consumers whose transaction records are recorded in the sidechain block receive notification when the root hash of their block is written to the public blockchain. At this time, consumers can validate the correctness of the transaction by comparing the transaction records they stored and the public chain’s root hash through InfiniteChain’s distributed auditing algorithms. If sidechain service providers or others falsify transaction records and cause consumer losses, consumers can protest through smart contracts and receive compensation after review.
